- Enter an opening balance of 0. When this page is full, the balance on the last line will be forwarded to this location on page 2.

- 5. Current Transaction
- You are now ready to enter the current transaction.

- 6. Date
- Enter the date the transaction occured.

- 7. Description
- Identify the type of transaction.

- 8. Charge
- The January service charge is $120.

- 9. Balance
- The current balance is now $120.

- 10. Next Transaction
- The next transaction is the February service charge

- 11. Current Balance
- The balance is now $240.

- 12. Payment
- A payment for the January bill is received on February 10th.

- The current balance is now $120.
